Well, I think it’s time I had studio clearance sale. I have a lot more new work and the situation is becoming crowded in my studio, so makes sense to have a sale and say goodbye to some of the old work.
The sale will last a week starting tomorrow Monday 25th June until Sunday 1st July. Work is ready to be purchased from my site now.
All sale items are presented at the back of my Gallery page and are prefixed with an “X” followed by their name. All sale items will be £30 which also includes the cost of delivery within the UK.
It’s time to grab yourself a true original and a part of my history. An artists earlier work can often be worth a lot more in the future so don’t miss out on this opportunity.
This is my last and final sale of my older works so there won’t be another chance like this!
Exciting news…

Last night I won an artist award for Best in Brent 2011.
I’m absolutely over-joyed, I’ve never won anything before, but to win an award like this is a huge honour. Brent is a massive Borough full of people from different cultures and backgrounds, the diversity in Brent is astounding and I’m so proud to be a part of that and receive recognition for my work.
It’s not been an easy journey getting here, but I wouldn’t change a thing, and I am still enjoying the journey and looking forward to what comes next.
In August 2007 I left my job in fashion when a colleague of mine suddenly died. He was so young and up until that point was healthy, he had a very brief illness before it took his life. That’s what shocked me into making some dramatic changes in my life. It made me re-think things. That’s when I decided to leave my job and pursue my childhood dream of becoming an artist. With the support of my husband whose belief in me never fades, I was able to leave a regular income to follow my heart.
Just a few months later though, in December I was struck with an illness, I was soon after diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was devastated. Then followed agonizing months and for a good 9 months, I was completely unable to even hold a paint brush, let alone paint with it.
I then waited for medication to kick in, waited to find the right regime of meds that worked for me, rested and got bored out of my mind with resting. Gradually I was able to start painting again, this time with a renewed appreciation for how blessed I am to have not only the ability to paint, but the gift to paint.
The past year has been extraordinary for me and my work has been well received and liked by many. Receiving more and more recognition compounds my belief that I did the right thing to leave a desk job and follow my childhood dream.
What was your childhood dream? It’s not too late to go after it.
